EXPLORING PR FOR FINAL EXHIBITION

As one of the group who will be running the PR, and outreach for the final exhibition throughout 2016 I've been exploring ways in which to engage with people and to invite them down to the final show.
As primarily we want the work to be based online so other people can see the final show whether they attend or wish to see the previous shows I'll be running the social campaign to encourage people to invite guests to the show through a Facebook event, tweeting and instagramming posts of current work, and when the final catalogue has been printed will be using that imagery to engage family, friends, people from industry such as critics, bloggers and more so there's a presence online for the exhibition.


I've just started up a Facebook event for the page, that will encourage others to start inviting whoever they wish and spreading the word, I've included all my friends, family, clients from my personal blog which include PR for a few galleries, so hopefully this will stir up some engagement at an early stage and will continue to follow up with posts over on the Twitter and Instagram to make the online campaign more noticeable.
With a good turn out within the first hour of the event going up, this has increased to 10 social shares across separate people and boosted numbers significantly so far.
