FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY CLIENTS

 CRUST LIVERPOOL

I worked in collaboration with the Pizza restaurant on Bold Street Liverpool with their menu as a blogger, they wanted me to epitomise the details and home-pride nature of their menu. So we worked together on choosing their favourite dishes they wanted to showcase from their pizzas, pastas, desserts to create a vibe of niche Italian cooking. Not only was the assigned photos used on my blog and social media but also theirs when discussing their own social media. The PR company looking after the restaurant also wanted to utilise them within the restaurant as we discussed compensation and will further look into getting the best quality prints and fitting these images accordingly to their expectations so this is a project to re-pick back upon.

The same PR company also have approached me for a number of extra work as they were delighted with what I did for Crust Liverpool, so the famous Sapporo Teppanyaki restaurant invited me down to both sample out the new menus and write up a review - see here for the review .

Once again the brief was to create a vibe of the little touches that make the restaurant special. Having been there a selection of times I found it very easy choosing the right dishes to compliment what the restaurant was known for. From little details like the flowering pot of tea which is selective to few Asian restaurants, whilst also taking on their wishes of showcasing their elaborate range of both cocktails and mocktails as they felt this was one of their new USP's. They're widely known for having an open kitchen and using oil and fire to create eccentric shows whilst their guests dine but felt this overpowered the restaurant as they have much more to offer than the show they provide.

On feedback of the photos, they will be utilising these photos in their lounge area and amongst their social media all credited back to my twitter and instagram handles whilst linking me to the blog.

Having used this PR company numerous times I've gained a long term paid client. We've been discussing introducing some graphical elements into their menu as they want a complete brand change, so I sincerly hope after the discussion with their PR they can arrange me to introduce some Graphic Design into their restaurants. So far the feedback has always been positive as each review had gone up within a day or two since the visit and their usual turnaround time is within a week or two, so I'm supplying images as a very quick pace and always taking into consideration the key factors they like in my images which is, colour, contrast and attention to detail.
